2 June 2026 – New York, NY – Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of A Fête In Times Square, originally scheduled to take place today, Tuesday 2nd June 2026.

After careful consideration and evaluation of circumstances affecting the successful execution of the event, the organizers have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's production. This decision was not made lightly, as we recognize the excitement, anticipation, and support that attendees, partners, vendors, performers, and the broader community have shown for this celebration.

A Fête In Times Square was envisioned and curated as a vibrant, quality-assured gathering that would showcase Caribbean culture, music, food, community and allyship in one of the world's most iconic locations. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to bring this experience to life as planned, we believe this decision is in the best interest of all stakeholders involved.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our supporters, partners, performers, vendors, volunteers, and sponsors whose commitment and enthusiasm helped shape this event. Your continued support means a great deal to us.

I AM CARIBBEING remains committed to celebrating Caribbean culture and creating meaningful experiences for our community, and we look forward to exploring future opportunities to bring people together. We would like to thank the members of the community, stakeholders as well as regional and international partners for the continued support of the organization, particularly during Caribbean American Heritage Month in June.

We look forward to continued celebrations over the next few months, including welcoming the public to “One Love Fest” at the iconic Prospect Park Boathouse on June 14th, With our exciting “Hot Caribbeing Summer” 2026 series well underway, please stay tuned to www.caribbeing.com and our official social media channels for updates.
