Body CTrL is a gathering rooted in movement, sound, and the communities that built them. An early evening that begins in conversation and opens into the dancefloor bridging dialogue, practice, and release.

We start with a culture conversation led by artists, educators, and movement leaders shaping street and club dance in New York and beyond. Then the room shifts into rhythm, into connection, into a floor designed for real dancing.

100% of ticket sales support It’s Showtime NYC! a professional development program for NYC’s self-taught street/club dancers, through its non-profit organization Dancing in the Streets, Inc.

Culture-created. Dancer-centered.

Bendito & Jeremy Giros "Sandia" bring a movement-first approach to house music grounded in community, freestyle expression, and a deep connection between dancer and DJ. Drawing from soul, Latin, and Afro-house influences, their sets are rooted in the underground and built to keep people locked in.

Lil2Hood, originally from Southside Jamaica, Queens, began her career in 2015 and has since developed a global, genre-blurring sound. Moving through gqom, house, hip hop, amapiano, baile funk, pop, and dancehall, she’s known for breaking boundaries while delivering high-energy sets that pull the dancefloor together.
