Bamboo—elegant, resilient, and deeply symbolic—is one of the most beloved subjects in traditional Chinese painting. In this workshop, you’ll learn to paint bamboo using a brush and ink on a silk palace fan, blending technique with aesthetic expression.

Led by artist Kevin Ge, this hands-on class will introduce the essential brush strokes for depicting bamboo leaves, branches, and stalks. Through focused practice, you’ll develop an understanding of ink flow, brush control, and the dynamic rhythm that defines Chinese painting.

Whether you're completely new to painting or refining your existing skills, this workshop offers a meditative, culturally rich experience. You’ll also enjoy connecting with fellow art and culture enthusiasts in a welcoming, mindful setting.
