Four DJs earned their place in the DJ Scratchdown Finals, and now they’re ready to compete for $1,000 cash and prizes.

Presented by DJ Hella Yella and Dub Academy, Scratchdown brings DJ culture and live entertainment together for a competition where creativity, music knowledge, skill and performance all matter. Expect original mixes, unexpected song choices, live judge commentary and a crowd that gets a say in the action.

How the competition works

The three finalists compete in three rounds. After those rounds, the two DJs with the highest scores advance to the final Scratchdown Challenge.

Round 1: Freestyle Showcase
Each DJ takes the stage to show off their style, skills and personality behind the decks.

Round 2: Live Blend and Remix
The DJs create live blends and remixes, showing how they can bring songs together in creative and original ways.

Round 3: Theme Set
Each DJ builds a set around a theme, putting their music knowledge, creativity and performance to the test.

Final Round: The Scratchdown Challenge
The top two DJs face one final challenge drawn live from a hat. The audience and judges can submit challenge ideas, so the finalists won’t know what they’re facing until it’s revealed.

A coin flip determines the performance order, and both DJs get 10 minutes to prepare. The winner of the challenge takes the Scratchdown Finals title.

How scoring works

The judges rank the DJs after each of the first three rounds:

1st place: 4 points
2nd place: 3 points
3rd place: 2 points
4th place: 1 point

The crowd favorite receives 2 points, so your vote can make a difference.

What the judges are looking for

Creativity and originality
Music knowledge and song selection
DJ skills and execution
Performance and stage presence

Whether you’re a DJ, a music lover or just enjoy a good competition, come support the finalists and be part of the action as they compete for the title and $1,000 cash and prizes.
