The Last Friday of Every Month, Beyond the Table will host 1 to 3 Dungeons and Dragons one-shot games to broaden the world of fantasy, whimsy, and roleplay to the BIPOC community.

The game(s) will typically use the DnD 5.5e ruleset and a homebrew setting called the World of Vallonde, either in its mythic age past or its politically-infused present. But others may use a different game system and setting altogether.

The game(s) will provide a rich environment of stories and characters that you can select from. You're welcome to bring your own dice and characters, but adjust their levels as needed depending on the game. Otherwise character sheets and dice will be provided at check-in.

Price of admission secures your seat at the table, your access to BTT DM's and game materials, and 1 round of food and non-alcoholic drinks catered by BTT.

DM: Tex

Premise: His Majesty King Azoun Obarskyr IV has died, battling the Great Wyrm leading the hordes of goblins threatening the Kingdom of Cormyr. Though the threat of the Goblin War is ended the Kingdom is in shambles and much rebuilding is required. The King’s body had barely been laid to rest before the snakes of the royal court began to fight for the right to succeed our beloved monarch. The Royal Viziers, Arturo and Aryan Caligula, have declared the King’s grandson, Azoun V, the heir to the throne despite the boy not even having had his first nameday. The Court Wizard Vangerdahast has challenged this claim by putting forward the King’s daughter Alusair.

He is locked away in the Tower of the Drake under the watchful eye of the Caligulas’ evil bodyguards, the Hell Knights of the Godclaw and their leader Pontiff Alcanar. You must bring the young prince home safely and your duty to the realm will be remembered and rewarded by Her Majesty.
