DUPPY DASH OUT 👻🌴

mi friends dem · NJ Edition

Halloween weekend starts early. Before the big night, the queer Caribbean community of New Jersey is gathering at Isle 15 for one haunted night of food, drinks, and dancing.

In the Caribbean, a "duppy" is a spirit that wanders after dark. This year, we're inviting them all: the soucouyant, the rolling calf, la diablesse, and every ghost story your family ever told you. Or just come as yourself, looking dangerous.
