EDMPN April Gathering: Harm Reduction & PLURR Mindset Workshop

On April 29th, EDM Prosperity Network invites you into a space rooted in awareness, responsibility, and community care.

This month’s gathering is centered around harm reduction — not as a buzzword, but as a practice. One that empowers individuals to make informed decisions, look out for one another, and contribute to a safer, more connected music culture.

In collaboration with SIMS Foundation and the Sobering Center, this workshop brings together experienced voices from both the clinical and community sides of care.

You’ll hear from:

Brandee Smith, Director of Clinical Services at SIMS Foundation
Ashlyn Branscum, Program Manager at the Sobering Center

Alongside EDMPN leadership:

Alex Nelson (Harm Reduction Lead)
Alex Szal (Harm Reduction Lead)
Zakk Emery (Marketing Committee Lead)
Sarah Supinski (Founder)

Together, we’ll explore practical tools, real-world insight, and the deeper mindset behind PLURR — Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility — and what it means to actually embody those values in today’s scene.

What to expect:

• A harm reduction & PLURR mindset workshop grounded in real-world application
• Live Q&A with speakers — ask questions, share perspectives, and engage directly
• Open decks — bring a USB and step into the energy
• Austin Flowmies meet-up — connect with the local flow arts community
• A room full of people who genuinely care about the mental health and wellness of the EDM community

This isn’t a lecture — it’s an open exchange. A place to connect, learn, and realign with what this culture is actually about.

If you’ve been craving more intention, more awareness, and more depth in the scene… this is where that starts.
