Making new friends as an adult should not feel this complicated. 🤎🍂

Girl, I Needed This: Girlsgiving Speed Friending is a structured but relaxed evening for women who want to meet new people without the pressure of walking into a room and figuring everything out alone.

📍 Gather Norfolk | 500 East Main Street, 16th Floor
🗓️ Friday, November 20 | 7–9 PM

How it works
You’ll rotate through short, guided conversations with prompts provided by Girl, I Needed This. The timed rounds give you a chance to meet multiple women, while the prompts take the pressure off finding the perfect opening question.

After the rounds, stay for refreshments, Thanksgiving-inspired bites, and open mingling with the women you connected with most.

What’s included
Your ticket includes guided speed friending, conversation prompts, and one nonalcoholic drink or mocktail, while supplies last.

Bring something to the table
Guests are welcome to bring a food item to share! Think Thanksgiving-style charcuterie boards—a little sweet, a little savory, and your favorite fall flavors. Bringing food is optional; please label any dishes you bring with their ingredients and common allergens.

What to wear
The vibe is cute fall casual: sweaters, cardigans, denim, boots, and whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. 🍁

Getting into the building
When you arrive, check in at the front desk and let them know you’re attending Girl, I Needed This at Gather Norfolk. They’ll let you up to the 16th floor. Please arrive at the scheduled start time so you can settle in before the guided rounds.

Come solo or bring a friend—you don’t need to know anyone to belong here.

For the girls finding their people. 🤎

Ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
