Matt Friend is a 27-year-old comedian, actor, host, and impressionist whose wit, work ethic, and wildly accurate impressions have made him one of entertainment’s most exciting breakout voices. Equal parts charm and precision, he brings an old-school reverence for showbiz with a sharp, contemporary edge. A graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School, Matt fell in love with comedy at the age of four, after watching Austin Powers and imitating the characters. That early obsession blossomed into a career spanning millions of fans across the globe, where he has amassed over 4 million followers through his instantly recognizable impressions and cultural takes. His meteoric rise has taken him from viral sensation to an in-demand presence across television, live events, and red carpets. He’s appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, The Howard Stern Show, Good Morning America, Sherri, MSNBC, CNN, The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and more. His 250+ voice arsenal includes names like Rami Malek, Timothee Chalamet, Paul Giamatti, Howard Stern, Austin Butler, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and more. In 2024, Matt hosted the NHL Awards, which brought in record-breaking ratings for the league . Additionally, he delivered a surprise performance for President Joe Biden at the White House Correspondents Dinner. In 2025, Matt was named to People’s Sexiest Man Alive list. As a host, presenter, and live personality, Matt has become a must-have across the biggest cultural events like Wimbledon, the US Open, Milan Fashion Week, the Golden Globes, the Emmys, the SAG Awards, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, F1, and more. In March 2026, he will join ABC and Live with Kelly & Mark as their official red carpet host at the Oscars. On stage, he continues to tour internationally with his stand-up comedy, selling out shows across the globe, and earning praise from icons like Jamie Foxx, Jeff Goldblum, Howard Stern, Barack Obama himself, and more. He’s also lent his voice talents to The Simpsons and Family Guy, expanding his reach into animation, and he recently wrapped production on his first feature film role.
