Join me on October 24th from 4:30 pm –6:30 pm at Goat Island Preserve for a Halloween Costume Hike! Whether you’re coming to enjoy nature, meet new people, get some movement in, or just have a good time, this is your chance to do it all while celebrating spooky season.

We’ll be hitting the trails for a hike lasting around 1 hour, so come ready to walk, connect, and enjoy the outdoors with the group.

🧡 HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST!

Wear your BEST Halloween costume and show us what you’ve got! Whether you go spooky, funny, creative, or completely over the top, we all want to see it!

SCHEDULE

4:30 PM–5:00 PM: Costume Contest voting
5:00 PM–6:00 PM: Group Hike
6:30 PM: Costume Contest winner announcement (+ a prize!)

There will be light snacks and water provided.

What to Bring

Plenty of water (extra water is always a good idea!)
Shoes with good tread for the trails
Sunscreen and bug spray
A flashlight or headlamp, just in case
Anything else you personally need to stay comfortable on the trail

What to Wear

Your BEST Halloween costume for the costume contest! 🎭
Comfortable, breathable clothes that you can hike in
Closed-toe hiking or athletic shoes with good traction
Layers if needed as the evening cools down

Quick note: Make sure your costume is trail-friendly! Avoid anything that restricts your vision, limits your movement, or could get caught on branches. This is purposefully on a wider trail but we want everyone to look good AND stay safe.

*Please be mindful of uneven terrain, stay with the group, and hike at a comfortable pace. Everyone is responsible for their own safety on the trail.

No hiking experience necessary. Just come hang, get some movement in, and show off your costume!
