🍗 Wing Tasting Wristbands ( very limited) - save money and try every competition wing at the festival. Automatic raffle entries! Entry at 12:00pm
VIP Tickets Available - a Wing tasting pass, free giveaways while supplies last, a dedicated covered area with seating, a Festival T-shirt or tote, 2 raffle entries, and early entry at 11 am.

FAQs

Is this event family friendly? Yes — the Houston Chicken Wing Festival is a family-friendly event open to all ages. We have a dedicated Kids Zone with free activities for children throughout the day.

What is a Wing Tasting Pass? A Wing Tasting Pass entitles the holder to at least 10 wings from competing vendors while supplies last.

Are tickets refundable? All ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizers.

Can I buy tickets at the door? Yes — door tickets are available at the gate on event day while capacity allows. We strongly recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee entry.

Can I upgrade at the door? Yes — general entry guests may upgrade to a Wing Tasting Pass at the gate at the door price while supplies last.

Can general entry guests eat wings? All guests may purchase food and drinks directly from any vendor at the vendor's listed price. The Wing Tasting Pass is specifically for the complimentary wings. If we are sold out for wristbands, you can still try the wings, but at a cost of whatever the vendor chooses.

Are there other food options besides wings? Yes — we have a variety of food vendors selling sides, desserts, and other dishes throughout the event. All guests can purchase from any vendor.

Will there be alcohol at the event? Yes — we will have designated alcohol vendors on site including Saint Arnold Brewing Company as an official sponsor. Must be 21+ with valid government-issued ID to purchase or participate in any alcohol activation.

Can I bring my own alcohol? No — outside alcohol is not permitted on the festival grounds. You will be checked at the gate.

Will there be non-alcoholic drink options? Yes — we will have non-alcoholic beverage vendors on site including lemonade, agua fresca, and other options for all ages.

Is there parking available? Parking is available near the venue. Please note that parking fees may apply. We recommend arriving early as spaces are limited. Rideshare drop off is also available nearby. We are not responsible for parking costs.

Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities? We are committed to making the Houston Chicken Wing Festival accessible to all guests. Please contact us at contact@bayoucityhangouts.com in advance if you have specific accessibility needs and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket? Absolutely — we encourage guests to bring lawn chairs and blankets. The venue has open green space and we want you to get comfortable and stay all day. The event runs rain or shine.

Is the Kids Zone free? Yes — all Kids Zone activities are free for children attending the festival.

What age is the Kids Zone for? The Kids Zone is designed for children of all ages. We have activities for toddlers through tweens.

How does the wing competition work? Competing vendors s are judged across five categories — Best Classic Buffalo, Best Dry Rub, Hottest Wing, Most Creative Flavor, and People's Choice.

Does the event benefit a charity? Yes — a portion of all proceeds benefits Kids Meals Inc., a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood hunger in our community.
