IMURSE is back in action with "IMURSE 3000" as we take over a night at the Bishop Museum's J. Watamull Planetarium! We have curated an intoxicating psychedlic live dome show art documentary like no other, a whole year in the making. In addition to the dome show, we are activating an intergalactic space-themed lobby and a large, covered outdoor lanai that features live instrumentals, vendors, activations, libations, Hawaiian blessings, DJs and art. We will end the evening with a Fire Crown Performance by the Planetarium Priestesses!

This nostalgic full-dome film was created and produced by Sydney Raquel (nada witch) in an epically large collaboration that features over 25 Hawaii performers and 4 local audio producers. This full-dome film will be paired with an exclusive live performance that takes place inside the dome. IMURSE 3000 will then become a licensable extended version that's available for purchase at interested art-themed planetariums across the globe.

About the Film:

Have you ever wanted to step into a time machine and traverse time nonlinearly?

Technically referred to as “hacking the matrix”... "IMURSE 3000" is a 40-minute full-dome art documentary that invites you on an imaginative journey through the seasons of time, making stops at three past mesmerizing immersive theatre shows that can only be accessed inside select planetariums.

Step inside "IMURSE 3000" and blast off into a powerful portal hidden within the wardrobe of the ((once hottest on the block spot)) IMURSE theatre in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Our time traveling poetry host, Nada Witch, will take us on a journey through stories within stories, leaving you to reflect on how the radiance of creativity shines from our souls and is mirrored in the stars. This fulldome experience promises a dazzling blend of alchemy, technology, poetry, dance and comedy, as an interdisciplinary blend of the arts.

This is an art documentary with the essence of a home movie that takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey through the bittersweet nostalgia of this former theatre's past.

A one time Imurse only screening, featuring exclusive locally produced music, theatre, poetry, aerial and dance performances.
