Welcome to the second workshop of our 2026 Photography 101 series! This time , we've partnered with Photodom who have been a cornerstone to the film community in New York.

Intro to Film Photography is geared towards anyone interested in learning about film photography, film itself, how to start using your film camera, and how to better compose your images.

In this session, we will:

Review the technical elements of photography: ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, etc.
Learn how to use their film camera and best practices to take care of equipment and preserve film
Learn about different film formats - 35mm, medium format, point & shoot
Learn how to compose photographs
Make photos during a break out session with guidance from photography experts
Meet other photographers and grow their community!

Class will start promptly at 12pm and doors will be open at 11:30am. Please plan to arrive on time so you can maximize your experience and minimize distractions of your peers.
