Kef Time Brooklyn is rooted in our heritage. Our ancestors used to celebrate through kef (քեֆ), meaning "party," "feast," or "celebration." This evening is a revival of the mid-century kef phenomenon, where thousands of Armenians would gather for nights of dance across America.

We are bringing that energy back, but reimagined for us. From the highlands to the Hudson, our heritage has always been anchored in collective participation. Song, dance, and unity. We are channeling the spirit of the legendary "Kef Time" days of Richard Hagopian in a contemporary setting.
