Join us for the opening of Last Demands, a group exhibition exploring how nightlife shapes art, identity, community, and culture across the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Through painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, this exhibition examines nightlife as a space for creativity, belonging, cultural preservation, resistance, and self-expression.

Featuring Black, queer, and immigrant artists, Last Demands highlights the dance floors, music venues, house parties, restaurants, and gathering spaces where communities build connection, celebrate joy, and imagine new possibilities after dark.

Come celebrate an evening of art, music, and conversation with the artists. Meet the creatives behind the work & explore the exhibition.
