1. Prize Value & Taxes:
Prizes, including concert tickets, may be considered taxable income by the IRS.
If the total value of prizes won exceeds $600, Samples n’ Friends may be required to issue a Form 1099-MISC, and the winner must provide a completed W-9 form before receiving the prize.
2. Winner’s Responsibility:
Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes received.
Samples n’ Friends does not provide tax advice; winners should consult a tax professional if needed.
3. Non-Transferable & No Cash Value:
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted, except at the discretion of Samples n’ Friends.
