S.E.T. Squad Mixer

Join us at Nostrand Station Bar & Lounge, 822 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, for a night of networking, music, great food, and drinks with a dynamic mix of influencers, organizers, creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals. This event is designed for driven individuals looking to connect, collaborate, and discover new opportunities in a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees will also have the chance to take the stage for our "One Minute on the Mic" segment, where they can showcase their businesses, community initiatives, or creative work.

We’re excited to feature Messiah Ramkissoon, a poet, hip-hop artist, and community advocate, and the founder of Black Fathers Are Necessary, a movement promoting fatherhood and community engagement. He serves as the Associate Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Community Partnerships at Youth Justice Network, where he works to support young people impacted by incarceration through mentorship, intervention, and resources. Recognized among Black Enterprise’s Top 100 "BE Modern Men", Messiah continues to use his platform to inspire and uplift communities. His passion for advocacy and mentorship has led him to perform on major stages and collaborate with leaders dedicated to social change.

We’re also proud to feature Nancy Pierre, founder of Blu Construction LLC, who recently made history as the First Haitian Female Licensed General Contractor in New York City. Begining her career with no prior experience in construction, she took on administrative responsibilities and quickly moved into leadership, overseeing major renovation projects at NYCHA’s largest development in Red Hook, Brooklyn. She later earned her General Contractor license, specializing in flooring, carpentry, painting, kitchen and bathroom renovations. Nancy is dedicated to building a work environment centered on empowerment, team building, and a healthy mindset, ensuring her projects foster both professional growth and community impact.
