On April 18th, Siesta Fiesta, a globally-inspired dance party curated by ms.TIZA, makes its Spirit Lodge debut, bringing the rhythmic and percussive sounds of Reggaeton, Afro Beats, Baile Funk, and more to the heart of Lawrenceville. In this all-femme queer BIPOC lineup, joining ms.TIZA are none other than Most Beautifullest founder, HUNY XO and the one and only Madame Trio. To further immerse the crowd in the vibrant global energy, ms.TIZA will also perform live with bongos, while lush foliage will transport dancers into a captivating tropicalforest environment, bringing the wild beauty of nature closer to the dance floor.

HUNY XO

huny young, aka HUNY XO (she/they), is a DJ and event curator soundtracking and producing events via the Mostbeautifullest collective.

Bred in New York, NY and currently based in Pittsburgh (named Person of the Year in Music 2021 by Pittsburgh City Paper), huny's work in music and the visual arts is rooted in exalting Black women & QTBIPOC communities. As a co-founder and the Experience Lead of Honcho's Queer Fam Fund, as well as consulting on diversity outreach for other festivals, her mission to expand visibility and access in nightlife culture is a through-line in everything she tackles.

Beyond PGH, huny has played NYC, LA, SF, Philly, Detroit, Puerto Vallarta, and Morelos, MX. Her festival credits include Honcho Campout, Somos, Desertopia, and Bahidora. Referred to as a "rising star" by LA's Muy Muy Limited and a "Pittsburgh staple" by Resident Advisor, their sets are best described as highly danceable and genre-defying: club, house, techno, dancehall, hip-hop...anything with a nasty beat and embedded in Blackness can get it.

Madame Trio knows how to get a party moving. Coming from Pittsburgh’s east side with a background in dance, she brings electrifying beats that make it impossible to stand still. Her sound is all about waking up your inner rhythm and letting loose. When Madame Trio’s on deck, you’re in for a night you won’t forget.
