Land to Sea proudly presents Small World Art Market!

We’re crossing the bridge to bring you a curated line-up of local independent artists, makers, crafters, and entrepreneurs with unique points of view and work that makes you pause. Come learn about new artists and shop from a wide selection of ceramics, jewellery, printmakers, accessories, clothing, crafts, objects, and textiles.

WHEN: NEW DATE: Sunday, October 11th 12pm - 6pm EST

WHERE: Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street New York, NY 1002 in the Lower East Side. ***NOTE: This market is NOT at Land to Sea***

HOST: Land to Sea is proud to present a community market led by relationships, new and old, that we've cultivated over the last five years as a creative venue and partner to some of New York City’s most talented and hardworking artists and cultural tastemakers.

VENUE: We are excited to be hosting this event in the Gallery and outdoor Amphitheatre of Abrons Arts Center - a 110 year old historic arts and culture community center embedded within the social services agency, Henry Street Settlement. This market is partly outside. In the event of rain, it will be fully indoors in the Gallery and adjacent Theater. You can learn about accessibility at Abrons here

DRINKS: Enjoy speciality drinks and a cafe outpost by Land to Sea! This is your chance to catch us in the city.

MUSIC: Live DJ and Vinyl sets presented by Secret Radio

Thank you Posh for helping bring this event to life!

COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING:
Dimes Square Tourist: 10 Years in Chinatown - A Discussion Led By Phillip Poon

Time: 3pm-4pm EST

FREE! Join us inside in the small upper gallery section of the market. RSVP here. First-come first-serve seating. Limited seating and capacity.

As Dimes Square Tourist, Philip Poon has been documenting the spaces in Manhattan’s Chinatown and asking what they reveal about racial and class dynamics, art and culture's relationship to neighborhood change, and the place of Asian Americans within it all. Join Philip for a talk and Q&A reflecting on this work and what has or has not changed over the last 10 years.
