🎤 Meet the Feature: Ayanna Florence
Ayanna Florence is a poet, creative, author, and teaching artist from Chesapeake, VA. She is the 2023 Womxn of the World Poetry Slam Champion, a 2x Slam Charlotte Grand Slam Champion, 2x Queen of the South, and the 2024 Slam Madness Champion, among many other accolades.

As a queer Black woman, Ayanna exists on the fringes and outside the box—and her poetry reflects it with rawness, power, and poignancy. In 2023, she released her debut poetry book, “Oceans”, and continues to use her voice as a vessel for healing, for herself and others.

🔥 Don’t miss this fun night of poetry, passion, and performance.
