Steady Rhythm Recordings is owned and operated by John Reyes (Audio Mekanic) in Austin, Texas USA. Formerly known as Steady Motion Music, Steady Rhythm is an undeniable staple in Austin's underground Texas Techno scene. Since the first release in November 2014 they have gained support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, UMEK, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Cristian Varela, Agent Orange, Luciano, Luigi Madonna, Fabio Ferro, DJ Link, Johan Dresser, Alexi Delano, Markantonio, Claude Von Stroke, Bryan Cox, Anderson Noise, Roger Sanchez, Terry Mullan and more.

As a producer, John Reyes is recognized for his funky techno style as well as his darker sounds under the alias Audio Mekanic. Growing up in the 90's Texas rave scene, he quickly defined a unique underground rhythm that gained support from major artists around the globe including Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Agent Orange, Neverdogs, Luciano, Riva Starr, Roger Sanchez, and DJ Sneak to name a few. His hard work and dedication in the studio paved the way on to numerous record labels including Bush, Bedroom Muzik, Capital Techno, Leap4rog, and Ambivertal. With solid remixes for established producers such as Flavio Diaz and Agent Orange, John continues to build his discography while operating his own imprint Steady Rhythm Recordings.
As a DJ, John has played alongside some of the best and well known talent including Stacey Pullen, Agent Orange, Anthony Attalla, Andreas Henneberg, and Punisher. He stays well-planted in the underground Texas techno scene and continues to push his brand of funky tech to the dance floors with precise mixing skills and thoughtful programming.

Steel Grooves is the creative concept + alter ego of Austin Tx native Rex (RJ) Bruton. Rex got involved in the Austin rave scene in the mid 90s as a disturbed teenager. Dissatisfied with the world around him, he discovered music and learned how to express himself through creation of it. First picking up the guitar at the age of 10, Rex learned his way around an axe quickly by dedicating all his free time for patient practice. From Heavy Metal, Rex discovered industrial metal bands like NIN, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly which lead to an easy transition to Techno.
Since the age of 15, Rex has spent most of his life collecting, DJing, creating underground dance music under several alias. Steel Grooves is the first and primary style for Rex. Keeping his music Steel + Groovy, he has spent decades crafting his sound and stays true no matter the cost. Steel Grooves has released countless tracks on some of the top labels and has gained support from some of the top DJs. His own label Capital Techno Recordings (named after "Capital Metro" ATX's public transit system) Can claim to be the first International techno label to emerge from the ATX area.

Homegrown DJ/Producer from Austin, Texas. Alec began his House journey in college after attending a show at local iconic nightclub "Kingdom" when he was 19. His early house influences include the likes Disclosure, Zhu, and several Toolroom artist. After a couple of years of DJing, releasing music, and switching venues, Alec earned a residency at nationally, and internationally, renowned club "The Concourse Project." In 2022, his official release "Take You Home" gained mild attention in the local scene and opened doors for future collabs and bookings with other artist. With the latest EP release of "Dead Weight", Alec has shifted gears to show his deep minimal side and continued music journey.
