Fans of Summer Walker tap in!

For Women’s History Month, meet The Music Nerds for another intimate social listening experience covering Summer's catalog and the iconic women in R&B who influence her.

Sounds: Kickback and enjoy extensive mixes of hits and deep cuts from Last Day to now, songs she sampled, her peers (Ari, Kehlani, SZA)—alongside iconic anthems by Summer’s influences Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, and beyond. Her latest album, Finally Over It, will play straight through at 9:30 p.m.

Sounds curated by

— 8-9:30p: SCENE SERENE // opening mix

— 9:30-10:30: FINALLY OVER IT playback

— 10:30p: Supporter Drawing (Finally Over It vinyl)

— 10:30p-12: SCENE SERENE // closing mix

Social activities:

Summer song brackets: Decide the best of her most popular songs. Chat with other fans about your pick.
Trivia question cards: As always, there will be on-theme question cards to help you break the ice with other music nerds you don't know!
Supporter Tier/Drawing: Our optional supporter tier enters you into a drawing to win Summer’s Finally Over It galaxy vinyl. These keep the Music Nerds social activities going; plus this time, 30% of supporter tier will go to the non-profit Women in Need, which helps local unhoused families in New York City. Contributions are not tax-deductible.

100% SUMMER will be at Miss Barb's, a wine bar in Brooklyn’s Flatbush/Little Caribbean. The ambiance is cozy with space to two-step.

THE MUSIC NERDS is a social club dedicated to Black music lovers. This is fan event and there won’t be any appearances from the artist.
