About The Red Door

The Red Door is a two-day participant-led gathering designed to bring together artists, educators, writers, organizers, community leaders, creatives, and lifelong learners for a weekend of Rest and Radical Daydreaming.

Inspired by the un-conference model, The Red Door combines a small number of pre-selected workshops with participant-driven sessions, allowing attendees to contribute their knowledge, experiences, questions, and ideas throughout the gathering.

Rather than focusing on passive attendance, participants are encouraged to engage with one another however they see fit.

Held on a private farm just outside Atlanta, The Red Door provides space to slow down, connect with others, exchange ideas, and imagine new possibilities for ourselves, our communities, and our work.

Land Stewardship Volunteer Program

Beginning in August 2026, The Red Door will host volunteer stewardship days at Wild Rest Farms.

Volunteers will assist with seasonal planting, garden preparation, landscape beautification, trail and gathering-space preparation, light farm maintenance, and creating welcoming outdoor spaces in preparation for the October gathering.

Volunteer days provide an opportunity to spend time outdoors, contribute to a shared community project, learn practical land stewardship skills, and help prepare the farm for guests and participants.

Volunteer opportunities are open to individuals local to the Atlanta area.

This offering allows you to contribute directly to that process.

Each purchase supports:

• Creation of the garden installation

• Materials, plants, and care of the land

• Long-term stewardship of the garden

Planting begins August 2026.

Breaking Bread

Contribute to the community meal program at The Red Door.

Participant meals are provided throughout the gathering.
