We're back for a proper Vivid Parlor: an evening of art interaction featuring all local Austin creatives.

The Venue

I know you've never seen this venue... it's a decorated interior design workshop with a wall of colorful fabric swatches and curated design as colorful as we like it here.

The Diversions

In each of the smaller rooms and workshop spaces, you'll find secret messages in bottles, writing prompts, and creative activities suited to any skill level. No paint or mess, don't worry... you can dress up and show out for an evening.

The Talent

For the first time, we'll have dedicated programming throughout the evening: pop-up acts of 20-30 minutes by local creatives.
🟣 Zach Horvath of LIVE A GREAT STORY will show his photography of Kilimanjaro and share stories about the demarcation point the mountain represents in his life.
🟣 Dawson Carroll will share his music, including his own songs and covers. Dawson is deep in the creative world: he's also a media strategist now consulting solo after working with The Daily Stoic for four years.
🟣 Katy Ward will share several paintings and speak on the symbolism in each piece, tying a story together about the turning points her story has taken to embody 'living vividly' through writing, events, and visual art.

The Theme

This theme arose naturally from discussions with Dawson and Zach: demarcation points, pivotal moments, thresholds to a new adventure... something about venturing into the unknown sparks creativity just as powerfully as the sadness or mania many artists are thought to draw their inspiration from. Over the evening, we'll explore all the ways to broaden our horizons through appreciating the beauty of living and how much is possible when you follow that inner draw toward joy.

The Logistics

• Parking is on the street and is free.
• The event will be indoors. GA tickets do not include alcohol, VIP will show their wristband to enjoy an open bar.
