Hey! It’s great to meet you. We are 207 Connect, a group creating real-life dating experiences here in Portland, Maine.

If you are feeling burned out by dating apps, you are not alone. Endless swiping, rising subscription costs, ghosting, and profiles that do not feel genuine can make the whole process exhausting. Approaching someone in public can also feel intimidating when you have no idea if they are single or even open to meeting someone.

This is exactly what a singles mixer is designed for. A mixer creates a relaxed and low-pressure environment where everyone in the room is single, open to meeting new people, and here for the same reason you are: connection. There is no awkward guessing. Instead, you get to meet genuine people face to face, spark real conversations, and see where things naturally go.

If you are ready to meet someone, welcome to our first Singles Mixer of 2026: Single and Ready to Mingle.

We have three events on Saturday, January 31, each requiring a separate ticket.
• A 40s, 50s, & 60s+ Singles Mixer from 3:30–5:30 PM
• A Live Q&A Dialogue with a Certified Dating Coach from 6:00–7:00 PM

Why This Mixer is Different:

🏢 New Venue with More Space and Activities

✅ Compatibility List to Guide Who You Should Talk To

💌 New Match Card for Easy Connections

🔎 Full Transparency on Gender and Age Ratios

🪪 Updated and Improved Name Tags

We have made several exciting updates for our 20s & 30s mixer to make it even easier to meet your person. We have fully reserved the Ocean Gateway, a premium oceanfront venue in Downtown Portland with a capacity of 800 standing, but have limited attendance to 300 to ensure you have space to talk, move comfortably, and mingle.

We have also invested in brand new software that allows attendees to complete a quick 5-minute compatibility form. At the event, you will receive a list of people you are most compatible with. The software also lets you “like” people, and the day after the event, you will receive an email if you and someone else mutually matched. You will receive an email a week before the event to complete the matchmaking form.

Finally, at the event, we will have ten tables dedicated to fun, easy to learn games to break up small talk! Game examples are Jenga, Uno, and easy, fun card games!

To increase transparency, we post weekly updates of the gender and age ratios for each event on Instagram so you always know what to expect.

Do not just take our word for it. If you are still hesitant, a total of 240 people attended our sold-out September 2025 mixer, Screw the Apps, showing that Portland is ready for real-life dating events. 89% of attendees said they saw someone they were attracted to, and only 1% said they would not come back.
