About the charity

On September 11th, 2001 the world as we knew it changed forever.

In a heinous act of cowardness, terrorist attacked America on our home soil, with the biggest impact happening right here in our city of New York. On a day filled with such loss, many brave souls risked everything to answer the call to duty. Stephen Gerard Siller was one of these brave souls. A firefighter, from Brooklyn’s Squad 1, raced to the city when he heard of the attacks.

When Stephen arrived to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel he realized it had been closed for security purposes. In an instance, he threw on his 60 pounds of gear and raced through the tunnel to the Twin Towers.

Tunnel To Towers works tirelessly to support disabled or injured first responders and their families, homeless and disabled veterans, and provide mortgage-free smart homes for our most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
