Souled Out Dates grew from a Washington, D.C. party into 296 events across 26 cities — nearly 250,000 attendees and $5.6M+ in ticket sales in under three years. Next up: CAMP SOD, their first multi-day festival, headlined by Don Toliver and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

In October 2023, Souled Out Dates threw its first party in Washington, D.C. with a simple mission: hand the fun back to the everyday partygoer. Less than three years later, SOD has put 296 events on Posh across 26 cities, welcomed nearly 250,000 attendees, and passed $5.6 million in ticket sales — and this month, the brand stages its first multi-day festival.

The format

SOD events are built around energy rather than any single room. The team describes its crowd as "a primarily young, Black, and lit professional & creative crowd seeking enjoyment," and its shows deliver "beautiful faces, energetic vibes, and blended sets of music across genres." In practice that means multi-floor club takeovers, day parties, and open-air productions where the crowd — often waving SOD signboards — is as much the show as the DJs.

Three years, twenty-six cities

Souled Out Dates hosted its first event on Posh in October 2023 and never slowed down — 296 events in under three years, more than 318,000 tickets sold. Washington, D.C. remains the anchor with 158 events and counting, but the brand travels like few others on the platform:

Regular stops — Charlotte, Atlanta, New York, Houston, Dallas, Boston, Chicago, Richmond, Philadelphia
Destination editions — the annual Detty December landing party in Accra, Ghana, plus nights in Toronto, London, and Cape Town
The outliers — a full ski-weekend takeover in Breckenridge, Colorado

The through line in every market is the same: high-energy programming, genre-blending sets, and a community that follows the brand from city to city.

The first festival: CAMP SOD

On September 26–27, Souled Out Dates opens CAMP SOULED OUT DATES — its first multi-day festival, staged on its own festival grounds in Waldorf, Maryland, just outside D.C. The lineup is led by Don Toliver and PARTYNEXTDOOR, more than 3,100 tickets are already sold, and the weekend is wrapped in a full festival week: an opening party, a Park Madness edition, and a closing party back in the city.

SOD events are strictly 21+ with ID, and Camp SOD is designed for mature attendees. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and events run rain or shine.
